We really enjoy how spicy this species is. As always, respect the animal and give it the space it needs to feel secure. That alone goes a long way in minimizing surprise crawl outs during routine care and maintenance.

This species is a prolific webber, constructing impressive tunnel systems with multiple entry points. Provide solid anchor points and they’re far more likely to retreat to their webbing rather than give you any trouble.

It always makes me smile how feisty the dwarf species are, and this one is no exception. They’re basically the chihuahua of the spider world, if the chihuahua was angrier and had fangs. We lovingly refer to ours as Angry Dwarf. You’re going to really enjoy keeping this one.
