Spider People sells live animals and non-living merchandise. Return and refund terms differ depending on what was purchased.
LIVE ANIMALS (Spiders & Other Invertebrates)
No Returns
Live animals cannot be returned under any circumstances.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) Refunds
Live animal issues are handled under our DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy, outlined in our Shipping Policy.

Live arrival is guaranteed to the FedEx hub

DOA claims must be reported within the stated time window

Approved DOA claims are refunded

Shipping fees are non-refundable
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once a DOA claim is approved.
We do not offer replacements for live animals.
NON-LIVING ITEMS (Merchandise, Enclosures, Accessories)
Returns & Exchanges
We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

Buyer’s remorse

Sizing, color, or preference issues

Items damaged due to normal wear or misuse
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If a non-living item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right.
To request a resolution:

Contact spiderpeopleofficial@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery

Include clear photos of the item, packaging, and issue
If approved, we will:

Replace the item, or
-
Issue store credit, or
-
Issue a refund if the item cannot be replaced
The resolution method is determined by Spider People.
Refunds

Refunds are issued only when appropriate under the conditions above

Refunds are returned to the original payment method

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless required by law
Wrong Address / Customer Error

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information

Items returned due to address errors may require additional shipping costs

Live animals affected by customer error are not eligible for refund
