Platythomisus octomaculatus (Eight-Spotted Crab Spider)

Absolutely ridiculous. The "Pikachu" spider doesn't look real. On our lives, people ask if it's AI because it looks almost plastic like a toy. They love coming out of the enclosure to explore and walk around my hands. Every spider has it's own way of feeling about with its front legs, but this one is one of my favorites. It holds its front legs out and vibrates them side to side. 

We keep ours in good ventilation, climbing/perching structures, light misting, and offer smaller size prey. 

We’ve only got a few, and if they don’t move, we’re not mad about keeping them.
