Peucetia viridans (Green Lynx Spider)

These little guys are so bizarre looking, with their spiny legs and green color, I love keeping them. They ambush predators, and ours prefer to eat that way over tong feeding. They’re also pretty squirrelly, so make sure you’re ready for them to bolt out whenever you open the enclosure.

Care for these like a jumping spider, but think more plant ambush hunter. They'll sit up top and pounce on things as they come by.
