Grammostola pulchra (Brazilian Black Tarantula)

One of the most iconic tarantulas in the hobby, for good reason. 

Watch it slowly darken over time, developing a deep velvety black that you need to see in person to truly appreciate.

Known for long lifespan and commonly recommended to beginners. Every spider is different, but these are generally known for being calm and out on display.
