Yes, Brachypelma can kick hairs when disturbed. This one didn’t seem to mind at all and calmly walked right out for picture time. Total sweetheart. Our hamorii mostly just sits out on display and looks pretty, basically a beautiful, furry pet rock. Commonly recommended for beginners and considered a staple for a reason.
