Spider People Network

Apply for SPN Approved Business status.

This is a real review, but it shouldn't feel like a pile of paperwork. Tell us enough to understand your business, your reputation, and how you take care of customers.

Before you apply

Want to be approved?

You don't need to use TikTok, be an SPN creator, sell through TikTok Shop, or have an LLC.

You do need to:

  • Join SPN's Discord and be reasonably responsive there.
  • Run a business that SPN members could reasonably use.
  • Have a good reputation, useful references, or enough real customer history for us to review.
  • Have no serious customer problems that are still unresolved.
  • Share any public customer policies you use.
  • Have any license, permit, or registration the law requires for what you do.

If your business is new or nobody in our community knows it, we may ask for references or proof of several real customer transactions. We won't routinely ask for private sales records, government ID, or financial information.

If you sell or ship live animals, you'll also review and agree to the live-animal policy.

What happens next

1. Apply

Share your business information, public policies, history, and any serious unresolved customer problems.

2. We review

We'll look at your reputation, available reviews, community experience, and whether there's a reasonable basis to vouch for you.

3. We follow up

We may approve the business, ask for more information or history, or explain why we can't approve it right now.

The agreement

The standards behind the endorsement.

Be honest and tell us about major changes

Give us honest information that's complete enough for a fair review. Tell us if the owner, business identity, main Discord contact, business niche, or basic way the business operates changes significantly.

Follow your promises and provide reasonable customer care

Honor the policies and promises that applied when an order began. You can't change a policy afterward to avoid something you already owed. If you promised customers better protection than an SPN minimum where we've defined one, you need to honor your promise.

SPN doesn't try to define every business practice. If we haven't defined a specific minimum and you didn't publish a policy for the situation, we'll look at reasonable customer care and common industry practices.

Keep communication open

Try to acknowledge ordinary customer messages within 24 hours through the contact methods you publish or regularly use, including Discord, email, website forms, or storefront messages. Going longer than 48 hours without answering, announcing that you're unavailable, or having another reasonable explanation can become a concern.

You don't need to resolve every situation within 48 hours, but you do need to respond with an appropriate next step. Urgent issues, including DOA and live-arrival reports, need prompt attention under your posted policy and SPN's live-animal standards.

Finish or refund paid orders, even when a customer behaves badly

You may refuse future service or end unnecessary contact when a customer becomes insulting, threatening, or abusive. Bad behavior doesn't erase a paid order. You still need to complete it safely or promptly refund what you owe, then send a clear final update.

If you keep the customer's money, leave the order unresolved, and block them, SPN can't continue endorsing the business no matter how badly the customer behaved.

Spider People Network is here to help

Approval is a working relationship, not SPN waiting for a reason to remove you. We want approved businesses to succeed and stay in good standing.

If you're having a customer conflict or want feedback on how to handle part of your business, ask us. We'll offer peer support, feedback, and practical guidance when we can. We aren't promising professional business, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and we may suggest optional outside resources when specialized help would be useful.

If SPN reviews a concern, we'll hear both sides and do our best to support a reasonable solution. Respond honestly and provide the information we reasonably need. We may share relevant claims, messages, and evidence with the people directly involved so everyone can respond. We won't automatically side with the business or the customer.

Protect people who raise concerns

Threats, harassment, doxxing, dogpiling, contacting someone's relatives, or punishing someone for bringing an unresolved concern to SPN are incompatible with approval. A business may set boundaries with an abusive customer, but it still has to finish or refund a paid order.

Represent SPN's values

SPN endorses compassionate people with open hearts and open minds. Racist, anti-LGBTQ, or similarly hateful public conduct is incompatible with SPN approval, even when it isn't connected to a sale. It may end both business approval and general SPN membership, regardless of the business's reviews.

Keep reviews honest

Reviews must reflect real customer experiences. Fake or manipulated reviews damage the credibility this program depends on and can result in removal.

When a serious issue comes up

Hearing from you early helps us understand what happened and gives us a chance to support you before the situation grows. An honest explanation and a reasonable plan show the integrity and accountability we expect from an Approved Business.

What SPN can do

Most problems will start with a private conversation and an effort to help the business fix the issue. Depending on what happened and how the business responds, SPN may give a warning, pause or suspend approval, or remove the business from the program. Serious conduct may require faster action. Spider People Network management makes the final decision after reviewing the circumstances.

SPN doesn't control a seller's bank account or payment platform. We don't guarantee refunds, replace orders, or act as a court or payment processor. Our responsibility is deciding which businesses we endorse and whether we can keep endorsing them.

Current approval is easy to verify. An active listing on spiderpeopleofficial.com or in the official Spider People Network Discord directory is proof of current approval. Approval doesn't guarantee every order. SPN doesn't reimburse another business's customers or accept responsibility or liability for its orders, products, services, animals, or conduct. Falsely claiming to be an SPN Approved Business may result in removal from the network.
